E-DRUG: Comparative price of Generic vs branded medicines in India

[The Department of Pharmaceuticals of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers (!) has developed an online price comparison database, which allows to compare generic and brand name prices. This will help create more transparency in pricing. Maybe the full database could be also made available online?
One remark: the database contains 55 brands of Nimesulide Suspension (50 mg per 5 ml 60 ml), a product that was critisized several times in E-drug messages. So not all medicines in the database seem essential... WB]
