[e-drug] Correspondence courses in pharmacy (cont'd)

E-drug: Correspondence courses in pharmacy (cont'd)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear E-druggers

In response to Ntumfon's enquiry.

The Commonwealth Pharmaceutical Association (CPA) provided a
distance learning course in Drug Supply Management which was
written and administered by staff at the School of Pharmacy at The
Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen Scotland. This course is a
10-module self-instruction course with 3 multiple choice tests. You
would need to contact either the CPA (either www.rpsgb.org or by
email to bfalconbridge@rpsgb.org.uk) or the University
(www.rgu.ac.uk/subj/pharmacy) to enquire the current availability
of this course.

I do not think that you will find a basic pharmacy degree course
offered as a correspondence course and if you do, then be
suspicious!

In terms of continuing education articles then the website of the
The Pharmaceutical Journal (www.pharmj.com) is a good one to
visit, taking advatange of the articles written for members of the
Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
