[e-drug] Defeating malaria through pharmaceutical systems strengthening

E-DRUG: Defeating malaria through pharmaceutical systems strengthening
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The USAID-funded Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceuticals and
Services (SIAPS) Program is proud to share our new report
Defeating malaria through pharmaceutical systems strengthening.

This report provides an opportunity to present SIAPS's efforts and
achievements in improving the availability and use of malaria commodities
in eight countries: Angola, Burundi, DRC, Ethiopia, Kenya, Guinea, Mali,
and South Sudan.

With funding from the US President's Malaria Initiative (PMI), SIAPS
provided assistance to build capacity to manage malaria products while
strengthening financing strategies and mechanisms to improve access to
malaria medicines and the quality of pharmaceutical services.

This review is intended to mine program data and lessons learned to
document how the health systems strengthening approach can be used to
support efforts to control malaria.

This report would not have been possible without the efforts of our staff,
partners, and stakeholders who work in strong partnership with national
governments, the private sector, and international stakeholders.
