E-drug: diabetes drugs

Dear e-druggers,
This time I have a mainstream professional request. I am an
endocrinologist with a specific interest in diabetes, especially
prevention of complications and of the disease itself.
I would like information on the availability, costs, prescription
practices and treatment follow-up for the following drugs in
developing countries:
insulin
metformin
sulfonylureas
acarbose
I realise this is a massive question which will have lots of different
local answers. Still, I would be very grateful for any information you
may give me or if any of you could point me into the right direction
to start an independent search for information.
