E-drug: Drug Donations disaster in Venezuela (cont)
---------------------------------------------
Jim Russo,
Since you and I have been talking about establishing a means to hold donors
accountable, perhaps the story below is a good place to start. So I ask
information of you and all e-drug readers.

1. For Jim Russo: Please assure us that the donations complained of
below were not made by members of your Partnership for Quality
Medical Donations (which, for the benefit of all readers, is a
coalition of U.S.
pharmaceutical companies and the private charities that forward their
donations to the developing world).

2. For all e-drug readers: Please supply information concerning the
source of the donations that Richard Laing informs us about below.
We have an opportunity to publicly hold them accountable but only if
someone comes forward with the identities of the donors.

How long will we stand by merely complaining about this problem but
never acting on it? When will we be moved to demand accountability of
multi-national companies who add bad medicine to the trouble of disaster
victims. This problem persists because good people do nothing. I
earnestly hope that someone will be willing to provide the
information we need to find out who did this and to make them
accountable for it. If you would like to supply information
confidentially to me, please send it by email to

scott.hillstrom@analyticorp.co.nz

Your identity will be kept confidential.
