E-DRUG: Drug use in the elderly
-------------------------------
Does anyone know of relatively new drugs (approved in the last 10 years)
which have a general contradiction for use in the elderly? There currently are a
number of lists, which include medications such as diazepam,
carisoprodol and amitriptyline, provide a summary of drugs that are
considered inappropriate for use in elderly patients. Unfortunately, these
are older static lists which need updating.
Thank you,

[I recall a WHO/EURO publication on "Drugs and the Elderly". Maybe
WHO/EURO could make that available on their website http://www.who.dk/ ?
Any other good reviews that E-druggers are aware of? WB]
