E-DRUG: dur/due resources

E-DRUG: dur/due resources Europe and Australia
-------------------------------------------------------

A lot of drug utilization data are available from European sources,
and I would recommend to approach the present chairperson of
DURG-EURO, Professor Floor Haayer-Ruskamp, Northern Center
for Health Research, University of Groningen, the Netherlands,
phone +31-50-3633216, fax +31-50-3633082, E-mail f.m. haaijer-
ruskamp@med.rug.nl.
The best Australian source is probably Professor David A.Henry,
Dept. of Clinical Pharmacology, University of Newcastle, Level 5,
Clinical Sciences Building, Newcastle Mater Misericordiae Hospital,
Waratha NSW 2298, Australia (I don't have his E-mail address).
They probably have material from the Pharmaceutical Benefits
Scheme on a Web site, but I haven't looked.
Other ancillary sources are the Scottish database (contact one of
the departments of clinical pharmacology in Dundee
(Prof.MacDevitt) or Aberdeen (Prof.Petrie), and the Danish Board
of Health, Medicines Division.

Good luck,

Dr.L.Offerhaus
