Dear E-druggers,
The Dec 21-28, 1996 issue of the British Medical Journal carries an
article "SatelLife: getting relevant information to the developing world"
by Trish Groves (BMJ 1996;313:1606-9). This article mentions our E-Drug
conference as follows:
"E-DRUG
This conference regularly disseminates information on essential drugs,
treatment guidelines, and new developments, pulling together material from
the World Health Organization and other international bodies. Its
subscribers are warned, however, not to clog up E-drug's channels with
requests on how to treat specific patients or with advertisements for
drugs."
Since this is perhaps the first time E-Drug has been cited in a major
medical publication, I thought this piece would be of interest to the
subscribers and the moderators of the list.
Kind regards
