Estonian Violations of advertising regulations and ethical
principles of drug promotion
From March 15, 1999 State Agency of Medicines is opening a new section
in its website (http://www.sam.ee/engindex.html)

The aim is to make public all violations of advertising regulations
and incidences of unethical drug promotion starting from this date.
The violations are cited as respective paragraphs of Advertising Act
or Medicinal Products Act, for OTC and prescription medicines,
respectively (see section Legislation for details).
During period before this date the companies that have repeatedly
violated advertising regulations, ignored precepts made by the State
Agency of Medicines and used practices that can be considered
unethical in most of the developed countries are the following:
