E-drug: Expired-shelf life medicines (cont)

I cannot accept the argument that just because some drugs have been
studied by the US Army and found to be stable for a longer time than
that labeled by the manufacturer - then all drugs are OK for use
beyond the labeled date.
Is it not unethical to send to another country those drugs that we deem
unacceptable to use on our citizens? I am not without compassion but
I am not willing to compromise my standards for quality medications.
