E-DRUG: Final call for registration to the EPN Forum 15-17 May 2018 in Kampala

We invite you to the Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network (EPN -
www.epnetwork.org) Biannual Forum 2018 to be hosted by Joint Medical Store
(EPN member) on 15th May to 17th May 2018 in Kampala, Uganda.
The theme for the EPN Forum 2018 is Promoting Patient Safety -
Medication without Harm.
The Forum taps into the third WHO Global Patient Safety Challenge.
The EPN Forum 2018 will be official opened on Tuesday 15th of May at 2.00PM
followed by plenary presentations. On the 16th and 17th the EPN Forum will
commence with discussion that delve deeper into the strategies that ensure
medication safety. The full program will be shared in due time.

biggest pharmaceutical network in Africa. Therefore, organizations and

Poster presentations
As has been tradition over the years, time will be allocated for
participants to view and discuss the posters that will be displayed from
various organizations. We encourage participants to submit their posters
for presenting on the following topics:
● Best dispensing practices on addressing patient safety,
● Innovations in addressing AMR,
● Innovations in addressing NCDs,
● Other innovations including service provided since the 2016 Forum,
● Granular research you have been doing in your facility.
Kindly indicate on the registration form if you are planning to submit a
poster to present. We will then, send you specification information such as
the poster size among others.
Registration
Participants are expected to organize their own travel to Kampala, Uganda.
Registration fee (600 USD for non-members) includes costs of airport
transfers within Uganda, as well as meals and accommodation for 3 nights.
