E-DRUG: Final Conference. Campaign "Health for development"

Farmacèutics Mundi and Medicus Mundi Catalunya invite you to participate
in the final conference of the awareness campaign Health for
Development.
We will present a document with proposals to contribute to improving the
Catalan and Spanish health cooperation policies and to guarantee the
consistency of other policies with cooperation policies.

M. Elena Garcia, campaign coordinator, will present the campaign.
Chair: Toni Dedeu, director of international cooperation of the Health
Department of Generalitat de Catalunya.
- Access to medicines
Germán Velásquez, director of the Secretariat of Public Health,
Innovation and Intellectual Property of WHO until May 2010 and now senior
advisor on health in the international organization South Centre in
Geneva.
- Determinants of gender in access to health
Izabella Rohlfs, medical epidemiologist, gender advisor of different
institutions and expert on gender and health, National School of Health
(Spain), Instituto Carlos III.
- Avoidable deaths
Jean-Pierre Unger, professor of Public Health, Institute of Tropical
Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium, and co-director of the Master of Public
Health.
At the end of the conference refreshments served.
