E-DRUG: First plant in a Least Developed Country prequalified by WHO (2)
------------------------------------------------

Hi,

WHO prequalification of Quality Chemical Industries Ltd (QCIL) of Uganda as being compliant to WHO recommeneded GMP is appreciable achievement of the Least Developed Country (LDC).

Hope QCIL will use this achievement for generic production to make affordable life saving, vital medicines available to own country and neighbours as well, for years to come. And also hope that the international patent laws will continue to remain same till 2016 to let it thrive and the giant TNCs will not throttle the production facility.
