The best overall guidance on safe disposal of unwanted medicines is
to be found in the WHO Department of Essential Drugs consensus
document, "Guidelines for Disposal of Unwanted Pharmaceuticals in
and After Emergencies." It can be downloaded at

The guidelines should prove more than adequate. However, In the
event you require specific information on the proper disposal of a
particular medication or class of medicines, we would be pleased to
try to assist.
