E-drug: Helping developing countries access medicines (cont'd)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi All,
At times solutions to big problems come in simple answers, like the
one provided by George. There is a group that harbors that same
idea, and I am one! The real measure of concern of the developed
world in curbing the AIDS pandemic ravaging Africa will not be
the lengthy discussions on TRIPS, until even a deaf man can hear.
George's suggestion may sound dumb, but it sure can work. Just buy
off the patents from the pharmaceutical giants!
