E-drug: Implementing evidence-based practice
--------------------------------------------
THIRD PACE REGIONAL SEMINAR
Turning Evidence into Everyday Practice: Learning from the Promoting
Action on Clinical Effectiveness (PACE) Programme.
Monday 16th November 1998, Park Royal International, Warrington
As part of sharing the learning from the King's Fund Promoting Action on
Clinical Effectiveness (PACE) programme, this PACE Seminar will provide
opportunities for people to find out about the achievements and
experiences of four of the 16 local projects implementing evidence-based
practice.
*** The day will focus in particular on how to implement evidence-based
practice in primary and community care, with a particular emphasis on
multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working and the role of nursing ***
The day will be of value to staff in NHS trusts, primary care and health
authorities who are involved and/or interested in implementing
evidence-based practice. The key messages that will shape the structure
of the day are:
'PACE works' (i.e. change has happened)
'you can do it' (i.e. change is achievable for others)
'it's worthwhile' (i.e. evidence-based practice is important to
organisations)
