E-DRUG: Industry Control over Information

E-DRUG: Industry Control over Information (2)
---------------------------------------------
I can confirm that the data in IMS publications do not always match the
government approved product information. There has been a problem with
discrepancies in Australia which I have been told are now being addressed.
It is important to remember that currently most societies reward
pharmaceutical companies for doing everything that works to increase sales
without modifying the rewards according to the impact on health care.

If permission can be obtained I would like to publish some or all of the
report of Prof Iwan Darmansyah's comments on the MaLAM Website.

MaLAM encourages pharmaceutical companies to provide more reliable
information to assist appropriate health care.
