[e-drug] International pharmacovigilance training course

E-DRUG: International pharmacovigilance training course
-------------------------------------------------------

Dear E-drug Colleagues,

I'm pleased to announce the 13th UMC biennial international pharmacovigilance training course that will be held in Uppsala, Sweden, 2-13 May next year. The course announcement and application form are available on our web site:

http://www.who-umc.org/DynPage.aspx?id=13170&mn=1518

Please note that the deadline for applications is January 28, 2010. The chance of being admitted is not improved by submitting the application earlier. A selection process is carried out once the due date is passed. A set of criteria are used to identify candidates in a position to best assist pharmacovigilance development in their respective countries or organizations. Successful candidates will be informed shortly thereafter and will then be requested to submit the course fee. The UMC does not mediate over any fellowships to support candidates without sponsors but are actively searching for organizations that might be willing to offer such support.

For further information about the course and arrangements around it, please contact Britt Gustavsson-McCurdy (Course Administrator): Britt.Gustavsson-McCurdy@who-umc.org or Anna Hegerius (Course Manager): anna.hegerius@who-umc.org

Kind regards,
