[e-drug] International training course: Drug Development and Production / Dar Es Salaam

E-DRUG: International training course: Drug Development and Production / Dar Es Salaam
------------------------------------------

Dear Sir or Madam,

We hereby invite you to participate in an international training course on Drug Development and Production via 'Granulation, Tableting and Coating' for pharmaceutical companies in Eastern Africa and beyond.

Introduction

With growing international competition, many companies have to
re-engineer their business to reach the target of improving yield,
efficiency, market share and (if possible) profit. On the other hand,
undergraduate universities training are not equipped sufficiently to
provide sound practical education. Our aim is to fill the existing
gap, having a newly established Pharm R&D lab providing a neutral
ground for collaboration with East African local manufacturing
industries. We use state-of the art equipment, e.g. fluid bed drying
and coating machines, situated in a GMP inclined facility. This is
what makes us different from other institutions offering similar a
specialized training. Practical skill is our priority.

Target group

Who should attend pharmacists, pharmaceutical technician, and
operators and researchers from the pharmaceutical and other powder
processing industries where compliance to GMP standards, accuracy and
reproducibility is imperatively required.

Aim

To train the trainee so as to become competent in all formulation
processes relating to fluid bed drying, granulation and coating, in
process control, cleaning validation and stability testing in a
pharmaceutical or food manufacturing area.

The training will be organised and supported by:
InWEnt Capacity Building International, Germany,
the European Commission and
action medeor German Medical Aid Organization

in cooperation with:
