E-drug: Lamy answers to Dutch NGOs about South African court case

Following my message at e-drug of 24 February, about the
open letter of Wemos, NIZA and 22 other Dutch NGOs to European
Commissioner Pascal Lamy concerning the South African court case, I
herewith post the answer by Pascal Lamy.
Mr. Lamy's letter is very similar to the letter that
MSF-International received as a reaction to their open letter.
The only relevant difference is the addition 'This obviously applies
to South Africa as to other governments' (referring to the fact that
the Commission 'does not push WTO members to adopt intellectual
property legislation which is more stringent than the Agreement
requires'). Please find full text below
