[e-drug] New publication on HIV programming in Church institutions

E-DRUG: New publication on HIV programming in Church institutions
-----------------------------------------------------------------

The 2012 edition of Pharmalink on HIV programming in Church Institutions was
recently published by Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network (EPN), a
Nairobi-based NGO that strives for just and compassionate quality
pharmaceutical services for all. It is available on our website
www.epnetwork.org!

The edition includes several contributions from EPN members from across the
world. It brings an inspiring look on HIV programming in church institutions
in Kenya, Uganda and Zambia, but also insights on the supply of ARVs, the
burden of the disease in African countries, the challenges with regard to
patient adherence and last but not least, an interesting view on church
leaders’ opinions about the church’s response to HIV in the congregation and
the community.
