E-DRUG: Nimesulide safety? (cont)

Concerning to the query by Sivasankaran Ponnusankar on Nimesulide safety
suggestions may be added that although promotion messages underline
that the drug is a selective cox2 inhibitor, this is true only in-VITRO.
Infact its side effects support the, at least, questionable
selectivity-specificity. The discussion on Nimesulide continues and a
recent letter on The Lancet (18 Sept p.1034) and its references may be of
interest.
