E-DRUG: Nimiodipine

Dear E-druggers;

We would like to know if anyone could help us determine if nimodipine is
approved for the treatment of acute stroke in any country, and if so which
ones.

Thanks for your efforts in advance.

Warmest regards,

Note from the moderator:

The question whether a certain drug has been registered in any country
is an important one, but hard to find out from public sources.

The SCRIP databases on Datastar or Dialog do have such info, but are
very expensive.

The EU has a free database of all registered products in the EU,
called ECPHIN. It is
run by an Italian institution, and bonafide researchers can get a
password after application. Access is normally by WWW, and not by offline
email requests: http://ulisse.ei.jrc.it/
One can fill an application form online; password is sent after a week.
Contact Valerio Pagliari for further information; his email is:
valerio.pagliari@jrc.it

Individual E-drug members could send their national info directly
to Larry.
