Dear e-drug colleagues
NPS MedicineWise, the independent non-profit medicines information
organisation funded by the Government of Australia's Department of
Health and Ageing, has been contracted by WHO WPRO to
- Identify existing resources (training materials and programs),
globally and in the Western Pacific Region; and
- develop a draft package of introductory training materials to
support the training of hospital managers on the development and
implementation of antimicrobial stewardship program, aimed at resource
limited countries, with options to adapt to include middle-income
countries, in the Western Pacific region.
I am currently compiling a list of available training materials that
have been used to implement antimicrobial stewardship programs in
hospitals.
I am therefore seeking e-drug members assistance in providing any
training materials associated with this issue, particularly among
resource limited settings.

·A recent 2013 Cochrane review ("Interventions to improve antibiotic
prescribing practices for hospital inpatients (Review); 2013")
