E-drug: NSAIDS for dysmenorrhoea (cont'd)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
If Dr Joel Lexchin's opinion on NSAIDs is not "evidenced based", I
wonder about relying on patients feedback, as Dr Edgren has
suggested, as an evidenced based practice. With respect, any
individual with basic pharmacology knows all NSAIDs affect
prostaglandin synthesis. Therefore they can be used to treat
dysmenorrhea. The cost and, to some extend, the safety profile of the
NSAIDs should determin the selected agent.
