E-DRUG: Ongoing revision of the CIOMS guidelines for biomedical research

Dear Friends,
Maybe not everybody is aware that a public consultation is ongoing for the update of the International Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research Involving Human Subjects, last issued in 2002 by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).
The previous Guidelines for Biomedical Research and for Epidemiological Research will now be merged in one document. The draft text include 25 sub-guidelines, and is available for comments at: http://www.cioms.ch/index.php/guidelines-test
The deadline is 1st March 2016. This may be an interesting opportunity for non-commercial research groups to provide their input.
