Dear E-druggers

This Thursday, April 7th, is World Health Day and the theme this year is diabetes. On this day, HAI is launching new research on access to insulin, which was undertaken as part of its Addressing the Challenge and Constraints of Insulin Sources and Supply (ACCISS) Study. This Study is led by Margaret Ewen from HAI, David Beran from the University of Geneva/Geneva University Hospitals, and Richard Laing from Boston University School of Public Health.

The research takes the form of five profiles, with accompanying fact sheets, on the global insulin market, insulin prices, global trade in insulin, patents on insulin, and tariffs and taxes on insulin.

The profiles will be launched during a panel discussion being held in Geneva on Thursday from 1500-1700 CET. The discussion is being co-hosted by HAI and The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology.

We welcome E-druggers to join the online discussion via a livestream. You can access the site for the livestream here :
