Re: Ciprofloxacin patent expiry date
The German patent dates back to 1983 (3,142,854), the US patent to
1987 (4,670,444). It will take therefore some time until generic
products are available.
By the way: ALL patent dates and numbers can
be found in the Merck Index (12th Ed. 1996).

brandname product, not a generic.
Patent expiry dates may vary from country to country. Can someone
