E-drug: Patient education (cont'd)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
G'day again,
I have just found a site (which was under my nose the whole time),
which contains PI and CMI for all prescription medications in
Australia. Here is the website.
http://www.appco.com.au/appguide/
You are required to obtain a password. It takes only minutes for it
to be e-mailed to you.
When you log in, click on either PI or CMI and type the drug in
(either brand or generic name). Please remember that some of the
drugs you are interested in may not yet be registered, or no longer
available in Australia.
If you type in the generic name, it lists the brand names and the
date when the drug company last updated the CMI. The
documents are all HTML.
I have looked at more CMI's than I want to tonight!
I hope you find it useful,
Andrew
