Dear all,

Oxfam, Third World Network and Health Gap Coalition have
launched a global online petition, which we hope will demonstrate
the strength of global public concern about World Trade
Organisation (WTO) patent rules that put the profits of powerful
drug companies before public health in poor countries.

The petition calls on WTO members, in particular the United States,
to demonstrate their commitment to put health before wealth by
changing and clarifying the global patent rules at the forthcoming
WTO summit conference.

Now the petition is available online, at
http://www.oxfam.org.uk/health and we would like to have your
cooperation by distributes this email to all non government
organizations under the CCSDPT membership.

If you are require any further information please contact Mr. Alex
Renton, our Regional Media and Advocacy Coordinator or
Ms Wannaree Taechajaroenwong, Programme and Communications
Officer. See contact address below.

We do hope to get your kind assistance and helping us change
global TRIPS rules in favour of the poor.

With best wishes,

Heather Grady
Regional Director
Oxfam GB in East Asia.
