Dear all,

The WHO Collaborating Centre of Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies is pleased to announce the PPRI Conference "Balancing pharmaceutical policies between equity and cost-containment - a critical discussion and lessons learned" on 29/30 September 2011 in Vienna.

Main topics of the conference are:

* pricing and reimbursement of medicines in the in- and out-patient sector,
* interface management of medicines, and
* the rational use of medicines

from a global, international, European perspective.

Call for abstracts: <http://whocc.goeg.at/conference&gt; Specific sessions at the conference will be dedicated to allow researchers and policy makers to present and discuss past and current work in the field of pharmaceutical policies. Contributions to these sessions can be submitted to the organisers of the conference in the form of abstracts which are selected for presentation at the conference. Special conference fees are offered to presenters of selected abstracts. Please visit the website for further information.
