E-drug: Pharmaceuticalization

Dear e-druggers
I have 2 questions:
1) Have you ever heard or used the term 'pharmaceuticalization'
(meaning the same as medicalization)
2) Is there good evidence for the hypothesis that people rather take
the pill than make for example lifestyle changes? I know that
opposite evidence exists: same people who use OTC drugs and
natural remedies have actually healthier lifestyles.
All references would be beneficial to me. Many thanks in advantage.
