Availability, affordability and pricing of high cost medicines in United Kingdom
IThis research will focus on availability, pricing and funding of HCMs. The research will determine the proportion of funded HCMs by NHS relative to those approved for use in other EU countries. It will also explore the perception of health care professionals regarding the issue and will compare the prices of HCMs between the UK and other EU nations. The project will contribute towards a solid empirical and analytical foundation for future decision-making.
