E-drug: Phenylpropanolamine (contd)

In South Africa, phenylpropanolamine is contained in various
combination preparations for colds & flu, rhinitis, sinusitis, etc.
It is also available on its own (75 mg per slow-release capsule/tablet)
licensed for appetite suppression. All preparations are available
over-the-counter from pharmacies, under the supervision of a pharmacist.
