I would like to know of any other similar projects using electronic drug
guidelines of any type, for example Prodigy in the U.K. If anyone is
interested, I would be willing to share my research to date.
Dear E-druggers,
I don't think we have done anything quite this ambitious, however we have
converted the South African essential drugs list for primary care
and treatment guidelines into 2 electronic formats - HTML and PDF
(on behalf of our Department of Health).
Both of these formats are for viewing, searching and printing the
content. As far as I am aware prescribing software is not
much used in South Africa, so not sure how one would integrate this.
However any ideas for future development and making the data more
useful would be welcomed.
