Well said Brook!

As I understand, compulsory licensing does not require prior permission from any pharmaceutical company, no matter how big it is. It is the right of the individual country to show the direction and path to deviants to correct and reform their prices to make the medicines affordable to its population. Countries not exercising this right are either ignorant or have weak knees.

If only few daring contries show the will and resolve to use compulsory license, others will ape the act and the desired difference will be made.

Countries not using it and succumbing to industry pressures will be doing dis-service to its population. Those who do not know how to govern in the interest of its people, have no business to be in governments.
