The U.S. Pharmacopeia(USP) is a not-for-profit organization in the
U.S. currently working to promote rational drug use in several
developing countries with the support of USAID. USP focuses on
providing regular, unbiased sources of drug information, building
capacity to adapt information for local needs, training in the use of
electronic information sources, and expanding the dissemination and
improving the use of such information by physicians, pharmacists,
health care workers and consumers.
