E-drug: Public Health Pharmacy (cont)
---------------------------------------------
Dear E- druggers,
While I do not teach undergraduate pharmacy students, I do teach
Australian public health students about medicinal drug policy and
related topics.
Assuring equitable access to necessary drugs is a key issue for all
countries (and WHO) and an overview of appropriate policies to achieve
this end would hopefully form a core part of "public health pharmacy".
Another key topic would be the role of the pharmacist in containing the
increasing public health problem of antibiotic resistant
micro-organisms.
Some publicly available teaching material on these topics can be found
at:

Cheers
Ken
