E-drug: Re: Essential drug policy - DFID equivalent (cont'd)

Dear e-druggers,

A month back, the moderators queried if "any other governments have
essential drugs policies comparable with the [UK] DFID policy reported
by Wilbert Mon, 12 Jul 2004". I asked the Swedish development agency
(Sida) about this and was referred to a short paper called "Improving
Access to Essential Pharmaceuticals". This paper was published in 2001
and was written for Sida by ICHAR (www.phs.ki.se/ihcar/) at the
Karolinska Institute. It's on the web at:

http://www.sida.se/Sida/articles/12600-12699/12619/HDD2001.3\[1\]\.pdf
