E-drug: Re: NoFreeLunch /treatment of AOM (cont'd)
----------------------------------------------------------
Dear Peter
As I pointed out, the reply that I provided was a brief response to the
question asked. You may have noticed that not only did I use our resistance
pattern but also the expert opinion of those actually using the drugs
clinically.
Your question has now changed and our Centre is capable of providing
you with the new information required. However, this test (trick question)
is inherently flawed since the "Hawthorne effect" cannot be excluded.
The true test in determining whether our information is biased by industry
sponsorship lies in a retrospective, independant audit of the information we
have provided to our customers. We are interested in whether a
group/individuals experienced in conducting this kind of work can be identified.
Should you still require the information requested, then please contact the
Centre directly on: email: micguest@uctgsh1.uct.ac.za tel: (021) 448 3202
fax: (021) 448 0503 and the pharmacist on duty will perform a thorough
search for you.
Kind Regards
Tanya
