E-drug: Reimbursement of 3 Philippine drugs (cont)

Dear Dr. Offerhaus,
I am writing you on behalf of Dr. Madeleine Valera, we have received your
response to her query regarding 3 drugs which are being applied for
reimbursement by our National Insurance Corp.
We thank you for giving us your insights regarding Acemetacin and
Cerivastatin and we apologize for the wrong spelling of the other drug,
(Moxifloxacin)
In view of this, we would like to ask for your assistance again regarding:
1. Moxifloxacin - Bayer claims that this is a wonder drug, a breakthrough in
Antibacterials.
2. Acarbose- an oral hypoglycemic, also manufactured by Bayer.
3. Cefpirome - Aventis Pharma
4. Glimepiride - Aventis Pharma
5. Ramipril - Aventis Pharma
6. Fexofenadine - Aventis Pharma
7. Silver sulfadiazine + Cerium nitrate - Solvay Pharma

effectiveness and effectivity.
