E-DRUG: RFI: Generic Medicines Policies?

Dear e-druggers,
I am currently working as an intern with Dr Richard Laing at WHO in Geneva to collect information on national policies and practices in relation to generic medicines in different countries. I am a student completing my Masters degree in Health Policy, Planning and Financing at the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
We are interested in the effect of national policies on the availability and price of generic medicines. I have been collecting published documents and reports and would also like to ask for your help in obtaining information in areas where I have found relatively little, especially for developing countries.
These areas are:
- patents
- regulation and registration
- labelling
- policies on prices and purchasing
- reimbursment
- public education
If you can help me, I will send more details on what it is I would like to know.
