[e-drug] S. Africa court case to resume: petition signatures needed

E-drug: S. Africa court case to resume: petition signatures needed
---------------------------------------------
Dear e-druggers,

Final call for petition signatures re: South Africa court case:

Next Wednesday, April 18, the landmark court case over South
Africa's 1997 medicines legislation will resume. This legislation
aims to make medicines more affordable to patients, but has been
blocked by 39 drug companies since 1998.

In partnership with NGOs worldwide, Medecins Sans Frontieres has
been collecting signatures for a petition demanding that the
companies drop their lawsuit.

Many thanks to e-druggers who have signed the petition, and who
have helped to spread the word by forwarding it to friends and
colleagues.

We are asking for your help in the final days before the case
re-opens. If you have not yet signed, please consider doing so at:
     http://www.accessmed-msf.org.

If you have already signed (thank you), please consider sending this
message to other concerned people you know.

We have received encouraging responses from around the globe,
but need your help to keep the momentum going. Every signature
counts.

     Thank you,
     Suerie Moon
