E-drug: Sale or dispensing of Iron containing products

I am interested in the supply of iron containing products for human
consumption and hope that members of the list might be able to supply me
with some information.
In particular, I am trying to find out the following information for other
countries of the world (apart from the UK!)
1. What is the largest amount of iron per unit dosage form (e.g. per
tablet) that can be sold for human consumption without prescription from a
shop.
2. The legal differences between iron supplied as a food supplement as
opposed to being classified as a medicine.
3. What is the largest amount of iron per unit dosage form (e.g. per
tablet) that can be sold for human consumption without prescription from a
Pharmacy.

or send me the email address (or postal address) of someone (or an
organisation) that could supply the information.
