Dear E-drug members,

i+solutions will organize a 5-day course on Managing Inventory in Supply Chain (English version) in the Netherlands from 10 to 15 March 2013. This course is particularly designed for Inventory managers, Inventory controllers, Logistics manager, Supply Chain managers, Warehouse managers, Purchasing/Procurement managers in public health sector.

Introduction
Inventory Management is a delicate art and often requires extensive works from any business with physical products. Maintaining appropriate inventory levels is crucial, especially in public health sector, because it not only helps save operational costs but also ensures that essential medicines and health commodities can readily available for patients. In view of this, the course aims to help participants identity 'When to Order' and 'How Much to Order' for their products.

Major Topics
The course is highly participatory, the interchange of skills and experience among course members is essential for training activities and learning. The course contains presentations, discussions, exercises, and case studies. The major topics include:

- The function of Inventory in the Supply Chain.
- Inventory Management policies and objectives.
- Inventory Management tools and techniques.
- The warehouse Inventory cycle.
- The role of the Inventory Manager.
- Case studies.

Requirements for Application
- At least 2 year work experiences in Central and Regional level of PSM;
- At least 3 year direct work experience in Inventory Management area;
- Strong English language skill is necessary.

Course Fee
- Before 13 January 2013: 2,600 euro
- After 13 January 2013: 2,800 euro
