E-drug: Teaching of essential drug concepts (cont)
---------------------------------------------
Dear Zaheer,
All the documents you mentioned are available from the documentation
centre within the dept. essential drugs and medicines policy in WHO
Geneva. You can email directly Mr. Claude Da Re (email darec@who.int)
to get a catalogue of all the publications available. Many of these
publications are free but some are priced. Many of the more recent
free documents can be downloaded directly from the website of the
dept. of Essential Drugs and Medicines Policy. The website address
is: http://www.who.int/medicines.
In addition to the documents you mention, I think that the following
documents would be useful to you:
(1) Guide to Good Prescribing: a practical manual, WHO/DAP/94.11
(2) How to investigate drug use in facilities: selected drug use indicators,
WHO/DAP/93.1
(3) Managing Drug Supply, 1997, Kumarian Press.
Best Wishes,
Kathy
