[e-drug] Two new online courses on pharmaceutical management

E-DRUG: Two new online courses on pharmaceutical management
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Colleagues:
Two free online courses related to pharmaceutical management have recently
been launched on USAID's Global Health e-Learning Center

https://www.globalhealthlearning.org/

The USAID-funded Systems for Improving Access to Pharmaceuticals and Services (SIAPS) Program authored the courses, and worked with Knowledge for Health (K4H) to finalize and publish them.

See below for details on the courses and direct links.

*Antimicrobial Resistance Part 2*:
The second in a series, this newly published course on antimicrobial
resistance (AMR) expands upon the concepts presented in AMR Part 1,
explaining the factors that contribute to the development and spread of
antimicrobial resistance. The course also explores proven interventions and
global strategies to combat AMR, discusses important innovations in the
development of antimicrobials, and details the effects of globalization and
societal shifts on AMR. The course can be accessed here:

*Good Governance in the Management of Medicines:*
This course explores the factors that make pharmaceutical systems
vulnerable to corruption, as well as problems that can occur as a result of
poor governance, and how they influence the effectiveness of health
programs. Developed for health care workers, policy makers, program
managers, government officials, and others interested in learning more
about these issues, the course discusses approaches, strategies, and
interventions that can promote better governance in the management of
medicines.
