E-DRUG: Websites Information
----------------------------
Dear E-druggers
I have just returned from the British Pharmaceutical Conference with some
good news re access to websites and with full permission to put
information about these onto e-drug.
The Pharmaceutical Journal (PJ)
The weekly journal of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain has
been made available online as from August 1st 1999. The site is
http://www.pharmj.com
The site provides access to the current weekly issue;
daily news service; searchable archive (based on issues from August 1st).
The PJ frequently includes continuing education articles which will be of
value to pharmacists worldwide. The site information states that at the
moment there is no charge for access.
South Thames Drug Information Centre (in Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital
Trust)
This is one of the network of drug information centres spread around the UK
and they have a website which can be accessed free of charge. It offers a
number of useful features including summaries of journal articles. The
website address is
http://www.druginfozone.org
You will need acrobat reader for some features - it can be downloaded from
the site.
Enjoy them if you can.
