E-DRUG: Where There Is No Doctor - update

Dear E-Drug
It is with great pleasure that we at Hesperian announce the rewriting in a very basic and substantive way the Community Health Worker manual "Where There Is No Doctor".
Currently translated in over 80 languages, and having been owned by over 3,000,000 Community Health Workers we are hoping to make the new book and on-line versions more adaptable and useful to the countries implementing primary health care through Community Health Workers. We are in the midst are working on updating the curative, preventive and community organizing information in this manual, and plan an extensive section on essential medicines.
