[An important step in the essential medicines world: WHO is now preparing a dedicated list of essential drugs for children. All e-druggers can comment until 10 October. WB]

Dear E druggers

The next meeting of the Expert Committee on Selection and Use of
Essential Medicines will be held on October 24-25 2007. The purpose of
this meeting is to review the report of the Subcommittee meeting that
was held in July, including the provisional model list of essential
medicines for children.

The Report and agenda papers from the July meeting are on the WHO
